Union Street Media is a leading real estate digital marketing firm, specializing in high-performing websites and custom digital marketing solutions for real estate brokers, agents, and teams across the US and North America.
With the aim of developing a marketing analytics and data visualization dashboard to enhance their operations, Union Street Media sought a staff augmentation partner. Their primary challenge lay in the lack of senior-level React developers or frontend expertise within their existing team setup. Opting to work within budget and tight timelines, they chose to collaborate with an external partner to expedite project delivery.
Union Street Media had already gathered data and built a web-based application, necessitating a clear separation of responsibilities. While two core team members focused on API development, VAIRIX stepped in to work on UX and mock-ups provided by a product designer.
Our responsibilities included recommending architectural decisions and design enhancements, leading the development of the web app, and refactoring existing functionality to improve performance and efficiency. We adopted Agile methodologies based on Scrum, organizing work into two-week sprints and holding daily meetings to report progress and share feedback. Quality assurance was paramount, with regular code reviews ensuring maintainable code based on best practices.
Technologies utilized included ReactJS, JavaScript, React Hooks, Redux Toolkit, React Table, and Recharts.
